Clear cracks in my facade
Each one a cause to leave
Am I so far away from it
Stabs in my bleading heart
Each makes me fall apart
I try to keep myself alive
Clear cracks in my facade
Each one a death of me
And now this is the breaking down of my remains
Lonely and lost like a shipwrecked at sea
With every breath it's getting clear to me
Holy as a saint could be
We've got lost together, torn forever
Watching the days go by
Stay down with hopes up high
Am I so far away from this
Have faith and call by time
Oh thanks for this good advice
'Cause you forget that everything is lost in faith
I focused all my strengt
Could have made the first few steps
But how the hell shall I bear this to the bitter end
Lonely and lost like a shipwrecked at sea
With every breath it's getting clear to me
Holy as a saint could be
I am broken like porcelain
No there is nothing time won't take away
But this has been to soon
There must be something to heal my pain
Am I just born to lose
Lonely and lost like a shipwrecked at sea
With every breath it's getting clear to me
Holy as a saint could be
We've got lost togehter, torn forever
No there is nothing time won't take away
We've got lost togehter, torn forever
There must be something to heal my pain
I am broken like porcelain

Impressive and immense sound, fused with and inspired by Finnish ancestral roots. UKKO hits hard but also has a heart beating beneath. Albums like this don't get made often; this one will live on as a timeless example of how a talented band move forward while refining their skills, exploring new musical horizons, and writing music with true meaning to each of the musicians involved. camelchild
Scalding metalcore from Spain, “Where the Waves Are Born” swings from clean to growled vocals over blindingly intricate fretwork. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 19, 2023
Supplementing sasscore insanity with bolstered vocals and pop-punk songcraft, the California band are kicking ass and breaking boundaries. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 21, 2024

The Hirsch Effekt! For Solitaer, every band member wrote a song on their own - and albeit the results are all excellent, the differences are tremendous. While Nares grinds one to dust like a Challenger 2 tank, Palingenesis is a furious frenzy with a delicious riff shredding everything in its path (Ilja, sure) - and mending the wounds with a grandiose chorus. Amorphous feels like my schizophrenic cousin clobbering me with a sewer pipe again. Gregær is the perfection it already was, but heavy. David Fischer
